Comics for a Cause

Each participant will create their own comic book by the end of the workshop. These young comic book artists will also volunteer their services to help the less fortunate in our local communities during an eye screening. A physical copy of a compilation of everyone's work will be given to the children attending the community eye screening in June.

*Halal meals will be provided. 

15 June: 

• Icebreakers
• Experiential activities of learning to put yourself in the shoes of others 
• Walk about and opportunities to interact with people from the local community in the area (guided by a facilitator in small groups of 3 - 5 children per facilitator)
• Introduction to comic drawing
• Learn to create a story board

16 June:

• Transforming the story board into a comic
• Fun and Games 

22 June (Tentative date):
